I love offsets! in cycling

I bought a K-Edge mount that attaches directly to the stem cap (the back of my Garmin runs past the back of the stem) and I found that sometimes my body tech it came into contact with mountain bike trail maneuvers. This solves this problem and appears to be invulnerable. You will need to add some washers under the stem cover as this may not loosen the handlebar clamp.

Didn't work on my barrel.

Well made and a good idea, but the type of refill you use can render it useless. That was my case. For those of us, an adjustable model is needed. However, both types keep the Garmin close to the steering wheel. This protects him well in the event of an accident, however you really have to look down to see him. The outstretched arms made it more comfortable for me.

K-Edge - Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

Good, secure mount, works well and positions the Garmin for easy reading. This is a non-adjustable version and will likely not work with a riser. Root. I've used it with both -10 and -17 degree shafts and it's perfect for that. It will probably work well with a zero degree stem too. The only issue I had was not putting it on right before my first ride, which isn't a big deal.

Get rid of the rubber band mount

This little thing has eliminated the rubber band mount that seemed to have to be re-attached over and over again. Installation was easy, but I had to make sure there was enough steerer tube left over the stem to connect and disconnect the stem and handlebar linkage. A bit pricey but it was the solution I was looking for. He's already survived a BAR (Big Ass Rock) fall in less than a week, so he gets an extra vote for his toughness.

Throw the Garmin mount

Good stuff. Exactly what I was looking for to mount a Garmin stem on my mountain bike. I wasn't impressed with the O-ring mount that Garmin comes with. Not everyone will have such a perfect fit as I've been lucky enough to have. I have a 0 degree 90mm stem. I just bought a new fork so I could shorten the steerer tube 5mm longer. If you have a shorter stem you will either need a longer stem over stem and spacer or an adjustable version of this mount.

My Cervelo R3's steering column is at the perfect angle for Garmin to sit with this fixed mount.

A very well thought out and designed mount. I chose the fixed/non-adjustable version for my Garmin Edge 1000 and it works perfectly, although the only option is to install this mount directly under the stem cap (no spacers between it and the stem cap). because the bottom of the Garmin 1000 protrudes approx. 2 mm over the stem cap when installed. This wouldn't matter if one wanted to set up the Garmin in landscape mode, as mounting it in a mount would require it to be in portrait mode initially…
