Great product, will last for many years. 2 feet is ideal for a 2-step patio. Attaches to brick siding with 3/8" masonry anchors.

I thought the short railing along the wall would help those who aren't as stable as they used to be when entering or exiting the basement entrance of the house. You can never be too careful with precious cargo! ;-)

I bought this to install in my shed. A friend of mine who is a construction worker was about to install it but stated that the brackets weren't far enough apart to fit the studs and the wall wasn't strong enough to support the weight. Very disappointed.

I was concerned I would need a professional to install this but I didn't! It is beautiful and matches other wrought iron products. 2 screws are very strong! Now she has something to hold on to when going up or down that step.

Pretty strong and nice wall hanger, but expected more from American steel! there were a few scratches on the rail which chipped the anti-corrosion coating which is now starting to rust. They're definitely minimal, but if you're big on words and take pride in what you do, you should be able to better control the quality of your submissions. I bought another half price wall runner that was scratch free and rust stain free and installed 2 weeks before this one and still handles inclement weather…

Nice strong handrail. My only complaints; It wasn't a main Revain item so I had to pay shipping and the frame didn't come with mounting hardware. Silver screws, which you can get at the hardware store, spoil the effect of the black paintwork on the rail. Luckily I had some dark 1/4" x 3" screws from another project. I needed to attach the handrails to a plaster wall and none of the holes lined up with a bolt so I used lead cement anchors which seemed to work fine. Update 3/24/18: Very happy…
