This stand is versatile and easy to use

This stand is versatile and easy to use. Although it's not hinged on either side or both sides for ease of patch panel installation and lead stamping, I was able to flip my patch panel over to stamp leads, then unscrew it and snap it into place. The side panels slide out for easy cable management and can then be adjusted to the depth required for your gear. The only issue I had was with the mounting hardware. While running the mounting hardware, the mounting holes on the back were centered…

Good value for money 4U wall mount

I would like to point out that this review is for the 4U mount as all the Kenuco mount reviews seem to be lumped together. This device comes fully assembled with half the screws you need if you plan to install four 1U devices in it. The size of the screws can be found in the FAQ section in case you need more. It also comes with four concrete anchors which, if your situation is like mine, are utterly useless. On the other hand, if you need to attach two posts to the ground, you can probably use…

Great stand for the price

This is a good solid wall stand with good quality and stable performance (I bought 12 of them and none had any problems). A couple of minor issues to note: 1) Threads are inconsistent - depth adjustment bolts/holes are M4 and front rack bolt holes are 10-32. Why not use the imperial metric OR instead of a mix? Who knows. doesn't matter unless you're trying to screw the M5 rack screw into the front panel. 2) The adjustment screws on the sides require a larger support washer than supplied; The…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Almost never

Others have commented that the spacing between the screw holes is strange. 15 inch, not 16 inch which is the US standard. I almost drilled new holes until I decided to mount it on the board and the board on the wall so I could hang a few other things on the board. However, it is THICK metal! Wow, that's heavy, a lot heavier than the little hinge pins, they should be a size bigger. Same goes for the depth adjustment screws, they are pretty flimsy for the bulk of the steel gauge. One last mishap,

A major disadvantage, almost perfect for my needs

Unfortunately this is a very important thing that does not work well. Mounting holes and screws do not match perfectly or are uneven. The screws appear to be standard for rack mounting, but the hole sizes seem inconsistent. I had to loosen a few screws with an impact wrench. Bad thread, holes too small. Reading other reviews, my rack differed in hardware - lots of extra mounting screws (may or may not fit specific holes) and no fasteners at all, not even anchor bolts like the others. I…
