You must find a locksmith or return to the dealer to program this fob. The programming option does not appear in the truck display menu.

When I bought the Yukon, there was only one remote control. I bought this to allow both keys to access the truck (if you open the door with the key the alarm goes off after 10 seconds unless you turn it off with the remote). I had to take it to a locksmith to have it programmed (thanks GM). But it works just like OEM.

Looks identical to the factory key but assembled with the circuit board in a new housing the buttons work not at all, as if the battery does not touch enough contacts in succession or completely. if you press it too hard, it works. I installed a cracked backing from my OEM, glued the crack in and it worked great. So not sure what's different, but there are some tolerances that are wrong.

Although my original keyless remote is gone, it's still fully functional and I've always wanted a second remote. So I ordered this remote control for my SLT 2007 Yukon XL.
