Here are some of my wife's observations. I am delighted with the gift of these new knives and block from my husband. The knives are heavy but not too heavy for me to use easily. And they are HOT! I like that the knives are made from a single piece of metal so I don't have to worry about the handle falling apart over the years. And the embossed metal hammer seems to be just such a texture so the knives don't slip out of my wet hands. I use kitchen scissors all the time and they don't disappoint.

I like that all the knives are solid metal. I have no problem grabbing the handles (no slipping). I don't handle knives with wet hands, but I tested them with wet hands to see if they would get slippery. It's not like this. They have the weight and balance to give them a premium feel in your hands.
