Works perfectly ! - Engines and engine parts

My tool comes with 2 o-rings as shown in the picture. I got it, went to my garage to get a 10lb weight and put it on top and I can tell you it's accurate, it reads 10lbs accurately.

Easy to use and read

I need to verify the accuracy of this unit. I bought drive belts for my motorcycle. When set to 10#, it's a lot tighter than I expected. But maybe that's the right attitude.

Heavier than I thought

I wasn't sure what to expect from this belt tension sensor as it looked pretty cheap in the photos but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality! Immediately has a decent weight in the hand. It was very easy to use.

No accurate thermometer. A reading of 10 pounds equals 11.7 pounds. There is actually a big difference on the belt.

Tested on 2 precision scales, the 10lb pressure setting actually showed 11.7lb, which may not sound like much, but this setting is a little tighter when you're adjusting the drive belt on a Harley. The difference between the actual 10 pounds and the 10 reading, which is 11.7, is quite a big difference. You can really feel the difference with your fingers on the belt. The measurement difference is over 4/8 at that 1.7 pounds.

A must for proper belt adjustment HD Tenshoin OME Requirement Suggested

Works as intended once you know how to use it. I didn't realize it was so small when I bought it and it didn't have instructions so I went to YouTube and found out how to use it. (Gotta love this YouTube) but the HD manual said "don't bother with belt tension, it can cause belt damage and accidents" so I bought one and used it. Now don't worry and everything works for miles on my 2008 FXSTC. I highly recommend it.
