    Really good hooks

    Longtime crochet enthusiast and always looking for new techniques so I was intimidated when I bought these for Tunisian crochet class as I'm only familiar with metal hooks. I really like these hooks; The hooks are strong and beautifully made. The best thing about these hooks is that they have the same hook size on each end and you can roll them with your fingers while hooking your work.     This was the perfect size and shape to use for my Tunisian crochet project. They were actually the correct crochet hook size as advertised. However, the sanding process was not yet complete and the wood does not look finished yet. The hooks snagged terribly on my yarn when I tried to use them. Luckily, a couple of free disposable nail files were included to help me finish off the sharpening process, but that shouldn't have been necessary.     Good, broke on first use

    They are badly bent, never used. Also, I got a huge sliver off the 8mm and that was after I sanded both ends of the neck and hook. The remaining five also needed a rasp and wax paper for buffing. K/6.5mm broke on first use. However, I love that it comes with a sanding board! This is a tree that needs care. I've just found that they require more technical attention and that may be because I'm the carpenter's granddaughter. I can't use them on acrylic yarn because they squeak and pull making my…
