The needles are well sharpened making knitting smooth and easy and I'm so glad I no longer need more than one set of circular needles - I never own what I need for another project but can't afford a full set. . I'm a big fan of this brand. I've never had a problem with their replacement or fixed needles (I use Nova Platina and Bamboo DPN needles). It is VERY comfortable to work with the material, even for several hours at a time. The needles are smooth and won't snag, and they don't make that annoying click that aluminum needles do, so they're a great upgrade for intermediate or higher knitters. I love it! But I did encounter an occasional prickly pinpoint. However, I have them in every size they come in. There were a few voids in the deluxe replacement needle set, so I used the thick set and the smaller point needles separately. A barbed tip renders the pair unusable which is why I bought replacement pairs for them through this listing.
