Avoid this garbage, suitable for additive manufacturing products

Good start, also some jamming problems, to continue printing, I often had to stop printing, pull the filament, break it, a small Allen key push the jam through, reload, and wait another hour or two for it to reignite. Note that it is 750 grams not kg but in my filament search I clearly checked the 1kg filter so they may be lying to the Amazon

Pros
  • 3D printing filament
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Incompatible PLA. the best in additive manufacturing

I really tried to love Kodak Filament. I had a black reel so it took me a while to use it. It was in a sealed envelope with a silica gel sachet. It was sealed tight and I saw no need to put it in the dryer. Kodak filament costs very well. This is the second time I've bought it and both times I've had filament issues. I just did a 19 hour print with a different filament. I switched jets, leveled the bed and did another 11 hour print. I return to find this mess. So I restart it. Same nozzle but…

Pros
  • Industrial and scientific
Cons
  • High price

Terrible. Tangled mess.

Then the first layers of the roll were fine. The layers are hidden under the layers, causing the printer to pull and break the filament. The coil winding is terrible. The chimp could have packed it better. How to wind a coil where layers are underneath other layers? To get any print at all, you should try to pull the foot out and then roll it back while printing so it doesn't mess up your print. Adhesion to the printing platform is also poor. I run almost all of my filament at the same hot end…
