Sturdy frame, needs some design tweaks.

The stand is neat and does not vibrate when lightly touched or blown into. Unfortunately, the installation location suffers from a lack of adjustability. If there were a third mounting bolt and each of the three bolts were 10mm longer then all the problems would be solved. The zoom/focus knob (depending on the application) is effective, but make sure you tighten the set screw once in the desired position. .

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No power

Stable, well-made stand

A stable stand that makes focusing easier and keeps the digital microscope in focus. Just slide an object under the lens and you're good to go. This stand is a perfect replacement for what passes for a stand that comes with an inexpensive microscope I bought. I had to change this to make it even usable. The scope (Jiusion 40x to 1000x magnification) is surprisingly good for the price and combined with this stand makes for a fun and useful tool.

Pros
  • Convenient to use
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Comfortable microscope stand

This microscope stand works exactly how I wanted it to, with two exceptions. Vertical control must be used with care. You'll need to hold the microscope while making adjustments so it doesn't roll away and hit the base. Therefore, hold the microscope or at least one of the setting wheels before loosening them for adjustment. In addition, the base may be a little wider. The stand can easily be knocked over, especially if it contains a microscope. An extra inch or 2 on each side will solve this…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best

Greetings to my first Revue

I happened to write a negative review before using the device. I figured it would be the easiest to hook up and as such siacoin is powerful and takes up a 3.5" drive I didn't have a drive that would run with it so I bought one, just realised that it has so much power that it only fits half a quarter at a time. I definitely need to change my rating on this machine, sometimes we expect a bit of plug and play, but I would give this machine five stars again

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Security

Good assembly for the money, no instructions

No assembly instructions. This probably isn't an issue if you're the kind of person who buys a naked microscope stand, but it's worth noting. Build quality isn't great (a lot of play in the rack and pinion assembly) but way better than what you'd expect for $25, and everything is made of nice solid aluminum. Add a plug-in USB digital microscope to this stand (wrapped around the scope with some tape so it fits snugly on the stand-up collar) and you have a 200x zoom digital scope for about $60.

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable feeling
Cons
  • Negative gift

Good quality, heavy duty tripod to look out for

I'm using a tripod with a Celestron 5 megapixel USB microscope (macro image). It has a smaller footprint and better vertical height adjustment than the Celestron tripod. It also flexes less when adjusting the height since it's not entirely plastic. The base is solid and not "wobbly" at all. There is a little play in the vertical dial, but this is not critical. I don't like the highly reflective and cast aluminum structure of the stand's base. This is easily corrected by simply placing a sheet…

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

An unrivaled upgrade that makes using your microscope a pleasure.

This tripod took a nearly useless cheap microscope (Jiusion 40 to 1000x) and made it a pleasure to use. The assembly came without instructions, but since there are only 2 screws it is not difficult. The rack mounting is a bit sloppy, but still acceptable and at a very good price. So if you bought a cheaper USB microscope and it came with one of those awful stands, do yourself a favor and get this one, you'll never regret. I posted a picture of a very small piece of uranium ore that I couldn't…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
