Very easy to install

Draw some designs with printer paper if that helps. Spray the diluted shampoo onto the surface before applying - this way you can move the tape like a pro to get it exactly where you want it. You can then squeeze the soapy solution out with a credit card or other scraper. I applied it to some of the matte black parts of my bike for protection (e.g. where my bags meet the frame and where the rear wheel splatters dirt and gravel into the seat tube). After several months of hard driving, it shows…

Stop looking for other products and buy this for your bike!

After weeks of searching the internet for frame protection tape I finally settled on one based on the much lower price and good reviews. 10/10 recommend buying this over other options if you're just trying to make individual parts of a bike frame. If you're trying to build the whole bike I can suggest another option or buy more than one of these since you only get 60 inches. I applied this to my Carbon Transition Scout and was able to run the entire down tube, top tube and both. chainstays and…

Save your carbon! (Or just your color)

on my bike for 2 months. My only regret is that I didn't clip it to my bike the day I got it from the store. My bike is a Trek Domane SL7 in matte gray. The matte finish is almost invisible on my bike. To wear it you have to learn. Start in a small area, like the top of the seat tube. This band doesn't seem to like the intricate curves like around the hub. Works best with multiple cut pieces to eliminate complex curves. Did a good job with a large stripe on the front pipe. So far it hasn't come

It takes a lot of time and patience! Not a simple app!

I knew it would take time to be successful. Make sure you have enough time and patience. On my first try I was very frustrated and threw most of the product in the trash. I carefully measured, made embossed cuts, used a spray and blow dryer to ensure the piece conformed to the curves and even wrapped around the soft edges. It would not and would not fit! I ended up clipping a lot of what I cut, essentially wasting material. I stepped back and calmed down a bit, took the rest of the material out

Brilliant. Frosted. Difficult. Complete package.

Wow. just wow. I didn't even know this product (helicopter belt) existed until a few days ago. It was needed on my carbon fiber bikes to keep bags and headlights from rubbing paint off (dust and dirt collects under the belts - even if you only ride the road in good conditions - and acts like an abrasive under the belts). , which move slightly forwards and backwards when driving). Racers Edge seems to be in the lead, but I haven't seen matte versions yet. Then I saw it - a lot fewer reviews, but

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
