Looks good and easy to swap out

This color was the closest match to my 2009 hybrid of brown Highlander leather. It's still a bit lighter, but I ordered a cheaper armrest and it was a lot lighter and more yellow. This one looks great and is not difficult to install. Pro Tip: After removing the small Phillips head screws underneath the armrest, use a flathead screwdriver to pry the armrest off the brown plastic cover underneath to expose the hinge screws. Then take them off and the armrest will pop out. See second fig.

Surprise! I never thought to look it up on Revain!

I had cracks in the console of my 2009 Toyota Highlander for several years. Despite attempts to close the gap with superglue, they continued to widen. I didn't even contact Toyota because I knew the coverage would be astronomical. Looked down the alley. That would be $100! On a whim, I checked on Revane. UNBELIEVABLE! There was a replacement for about $30! It took less than 19 minutes to swap out and it fits perfectly. Couldn't be happier!

Not quite the right color.

Installation was easy - you can watch a youtube video first - installation took about 10 minutes (including the time to find and watch the video). The color is lighter than stock and the holes that the screws go in are a little bigger than they should be so the screws aren't as tight, but as they say it was only $28 compared to the cheapest OEM that I was able to get cost $125. and the hole is gone. My photos were taken under the light of an LED spotlight - later I will try to add another one…

Excellent spare part

This unit has a faux leather cover already attached to the top of the clamshell armrest cover. (Some YouTube videos suggest removing the soft cap from the plastic base, gluing and basting the new cap onto the old one. No need for this with this replacement.) The fit is perfect, and once you have the new part , you can see how it is connected to delete the original. The color was a little lighter than the old upholstery but that is to be expected for a car that will be worn for 10 years. I'm…

Fits perfectly on my 2011 Highlander

Installation consisted of two difficult parts: removing the old armrest and fastening the new armrest. First, it is an operator error. The latter is probably still an operator error, but it was annoying when the armrest popped open during cornering or even the slightest descent. I don't know if the problem was that the part didn't fit exactly. I suspect it was because I didn't fasten the clip properly. After playing around with the clip and connection points, I finally got the clip to fully…

Perfect fit, NO need to remove rear HVAC controls

Excellent fit and price to replace a torn armrest on my 2012 Toyota Highlander. To be clear, you DO NOT need to remove the rear HVAC screen and controls to install this armrest! Installation was very easy - open the armrest, remove the latch, unscrew (it seems 4) visible screws on the inside of the cover, then remove the old armrest cover from the cover. The easiest way is to pry on the side. Look at the new cover and you'll see where the tabs are that hold it in place. Once you've removed the…
