They're fast but kinda spotty. I've had trouble with chamfering and deburring, which has always worked consistently. Sometimes they left a jagged edge on the edge instead of a good 45, or the edge was sharper depending on how it wobbles inside the die. Then he cuts off the deburring part stopper pin. It was a replacement. Of course I would buy again. The time saving is amazing. Especially if you have one that fits in a drill and buy a sewing machine pedal. This is a good product. They can be a…

She goes in circles. Oh wait a minute. The cartridge is ready!

Anyone who has ever attempted to cut cartridges to length and bevel case edges knows that hand tools are slow and tedious to do the job. They're really cheap compared to the $270 Dillon Rapid Trim (basically a motorized version of it), the $25 Lee Quick Trim is VERY cheap, easy to use and works really well. If you search YouTube I made a video reviewing the Lee Deluxe Quick Trim, Lyman EZ Trim and Lee Case Trimmer. (search for these 3). This is by far the best setup, even if you add a ZipTrim…

it works - good for airsoft

I have a brass mess for a single shot pistol and I use it for beveling the neck of a case rather than cutting it to a precise length. It does both pretty well. The old Lee chuck, designed to be used in a drill press, was never perfect and required the use of multiple hand tools to do the same thing in one step. Well done Lee! I did 250 cases the first time, the vast majority of which required 6 to 8 turns - Remington and Fiocchi ("GFL") were the most consistent, FWIW with some up to 16 and a…

Excellent Trimmer - Airsoft

This is an amazing all-brass trimmer. I use it on a Lee 4-hole turret press. I installed a 4-hole turret head with a full size adjuster and trimmer. I can go through brass relatively quickly (150+ an hour in most situations). I find that using high volume box lube is necessary to keep the trimmer running smoothly. I have to clean the trimmer with some compressed air about every hour. The length of cut is consistent, but as with any handloading gear, you have to find the technique or "feel" that

This gives a nice even cut all around

I am using this with a .308 die on an RCBS press with an RCBS case holder. I used the instructions on the die to fully tighten the lock nut and tightened it with my fingers in the press. I put the trimmer in the die and put the altered and cleaned brass in the shell holder. Run it about 15 revs which reduced it by .010". After a while I adjusted the rhythm so that the size of each sleeve could be changed from 2.020 to 2.005 in about 20 turns. Depending on the setting ring, I set the matrix to…
