Excellent light, bright glasses

I bought these binoculars as a gift having owned them for the past five years. We keep them in the bird watching glove box when they are not in our backpack during tourist season. They are very light but at the same time resilient when viewed by freshmen from Africa where they have proven themselves in gold. High-quality optics in a very small body

Extremely high-quality binoculars with incredibly sharp optics. It's hard to believe that this is possible in such a small package. These are Leica binoculars so I won't go into the obvious details of their design etc. The only comment I would like to make here is that these are indeed COMPACT binoculars. I love them but ended up having to send them back as they were too small for me personally. I needed something I could get my hands on for maximum grip. Perhaps the only (extremely minor)…

Excellent - worth it.

I need some bins to keep in my car so I can go for a walk or take a camera with a large lens (500-600mm) for spotting. These tiny 8x20's are perfect. The picture quality is excellent. I had a Nikon 10x25 but it was very difficult to adjust my eyes and I often got double vision. These Leicas are very easy to set up and very easy to focus. The push button diopter adjustment is great! No random changes. I chose them over 10x25 because my main pair is 10x and these 8x focus better at close range…

Probably the best 10x25 compact binoculars - but with some compromises This model was tested against Trinovid 10x25 and Swarosvki CL 10x25 - it was easy to put the Trinos aside as it was immediately noticeable that they had less sharpness and muted colors. They were lighter and seemed a bit thin. It was different with Swarovski - very sharp, with good contrast, but they're 4 ounces heavier, a bit thicker, and I don't like the diopter adjustment dial.
