Bruce Klein Tools_High Lever Pliers, 9 " Side Cutters

Yes, as some other buyers have said, these pliers are one of a kind. You won't find that with pliers from other manufacturers. Those tall arms will cut through pretty much anything 4mm and under.Industrial quality and price you get a lot.I sharpened mine a bit and now they cut really well.If I could say anything I would say these pliers are the best there are there can be. And you bought them here at Revain.com. Go on, Revain!

Pros
  • Very Good Value
Cons

Reliable and well made

I bought these to replace a pair my grandfather gave me when he worked for NYNEX years ago. I accidentally cut a large live wire and destroyed the scissors. I hesitated and doubted that this new pair would be as beautiful as my old ones, but I was pleasantly surprised. If not the same couple, then they are very close. I could have just bought some cheap Husky pliers but according to my last pair I should be able to last 50+ years. You don't always get what you pay for, at least in my…

OK, but with errors. for side cutters

These are excellent quality pliers, solid and with great power. However, when closing with pliers. The contact of the two jaws does occur in the area of the wire cutter as it should, but due to poor design or poor workmanship this does not allow the rest of the pliers to fully close. 1-2mm gap to keep jaws from touching. Because of this, you are limited as to how and what you can use these pliers on. This isn't a big deal as you shouldn't be using pliers for smaller gauge wire anyway. Anything…

Indestructible? - Pliers

Simply the best. I grew up with the same pair and after seeing the pair for over 30 years I finally gave them to my uncle and bought a new pair. For an electrician, this should be their first post-PSA purchase. I believe my pair were new in 1979 and we're looking straight in the face of a 14 that they still work, albeit with a minor cut: so that's an impressive feat for a tool that has been in daily use for over 30 years. I don't want to be sentimental, but after my father died I took this tool

It's no good for me for the pliers

I don't understand why people are praising this style of pliers! I'm not American which may be why I'm not used to such heavy and big pliers, I mean they're not even 9 inches they're 9.5 inches but oh my god they're so hefty and uncomfortable to use and also very hard . I also have a Japanese brand KTC 8 inch pliers, it is lighter, better grip and insulating rubber, very smooth and comfortable to use. I can't hold these Kleins for long, especially when working above shoulder height. The quality

Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Always reliable and necessary for every REAL electrician.

I start out by working as a Union electrician and relying on my tools not only to make money but to keep my job secure. That being said, there is no other brand that is as popular a power tool brand as Klein Tools. And I consider these pliers their flagship. No other brand I use for crawlers is as high quality as Kleins. The pliers look brand new but won't last long. And all because it's a dirty business. When you pick them up you get the feeling that they are not cheap or on sale. They are…

Not all tools are the same!

These are just great pliers. With them, you get quality tool steel that stands up, a solid base construction that's ready for the toughest jobs, and an extra slim grip on the handles. I find them very comfortable to hold and have made a great addition to my toolbox without missing out on Snap-On or Matco tools. The pliers were extremely stiff when delivered, but were easy to release without too much effort. It seems that nowadays people usually choose quality pliers from one of three brands…

Pros
  • Hot rivet connection for a smooth ride and no wobble
