Great alternative to the velcro version

I have several velcro versions and have been using them on various bikes for over 5 years. But I prefer to strap bikes to the saddle as tightly as possible, preferably just enough so that the back of my leg doesn't touch or rub while cycling. After finding these versions of the QR rail mount, I replaced all the others. it's so much easier now. Get the velcro version if you move the bag enough to other bikes, otherwise just take this one.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Expensive

Not suitable for all saddles!

The size of the bag fits what I carry. A tube, 19 crank, multi-tool, tire levers, tire patch kit. The multi-tool fits in an outside pocket. There is no room for anything else, phone, wallet etc. The base that comes on the rails is the biggest complaint, it's too short. I had to slide the saddle back to attach the mount. I didn't use a light harness because. My Fizik saddle has a saddle mount. It's too early to tell if it will hold up, but so far so good, no rattling or loose zippers.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Unreliable

Costs money. good for cycling

well done. Everything is stuck. The only problem I have is that the pocket for my multi tool is a bit small. I have to push it in, stretching the pocket (made of elastic material) to lower the flap just enough for it to snap into place. That's no problem now. However, I see some future structural integrity issues if I open and close the velcro frequently. Also, the way the fabric stretches along the multi-tool's curves leads me to believe there are some hot spots for early wear. The main…

Good saddle bag. for cycling

For my height, I was surprised to install all the items needed to renovate the apartment. I also use a small torque wrench (T-Handle Prestacycle TorqKey T-Handle Preset Torque Tool) to avoid over-tightening the thru-bolts on my carbon bike. Another reviewer mentioned that the bag would vibrate at every little bump, so I listened closely for any noise after attaching the bag. I didn't hear any vibrations on small bumps. Instead, I hear a thud with every big bump I drive over, especially on fast…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • ---

I only have one complaint and it's not about how much it holds. It has everything you need - a 700c inner tube, 2 CO2 cartridges, an inflation head, 2 fat (Pedro) tire levers, money, ID and even a camera repair kit. Yes, all in my pocket. My only major complaint is that the bag vibrates audibly over every little bump in the road - all the time. The bag itself is strategically packed by me to ensure it DOES NOT vibrate. There is a big gap between the handrail and the bag mount, so I decided to…

Pros
  • There are few competitors
Cons
  • I don't have much dislike for it, everything is fine

so far so good for bike racks and bags

So far I'm quite happy with this bag under the seat. The main reason I bought this bag was that it only hangs from the rear seat rails and doesn't have a stabilization strap on the seatpost. My old stick strap bag would get in the way of my seat post. This bag feels pretty sturdy and attaches to the seat rails fairly securely. The bag is very compact, maybe even bigger than I expected based on other reviews. What I have in my bag: a 27.5+ tube with air squeezed out, 2 plastic mounts, a set of…

  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great bag for essentials

I rarely give a product 5 stars. However, the Lezyne Caddy ticks all of my boxes. I've always had issues with bag attachment mechanisms using Velcro. They don't hold up well, the velcro around the seatpost doesn't close well and the velcro around the seatpost rubs and frays on the inner thighs of my cycling shorts. This bag solves all of those problems. As some reviewers note, the bag rattles a little at the moment of quick release. But it's significantly less than the rattling I've experienced

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
