Good quality product. I REALLY appreciate the extra layer of plastic wrap on the panel to protect it from scratches until I install it. After I removed the protective film, the plate became a mirror! This adorns the front of my truck beautifully! Update: 2 years later this plaque still shines. It also lasted longer than I expected as it hit the front of my truck hard. It's done 45,000 miles, sure, has a few scratches and a few chips, but no rust and shines to a high gloss.

When I got my new car I knew I wanted this number plate on it. I love the look of black and silver as I have a silver car with black detailing. This is exactly what I needed to complete the look of my car. The surface feels a little delicate and looks like it's going to be scratched, causing the black paint to peel off, so I decided to coat the panel with a clear coat. The plate is beautiful. There are no comments yet on the durability of the black finish; In my experience with other similar items, any coating applied to metal will chip or peel off fairly quickly. However, I protect the plate with a UV stabilized (Lexan) plastic coating to preserve the mirror finish brushed aluminum and black lacquered/anodized finish.
