I've been buying this yarn for years and use it to knit everything from handbags to kitchen towels. A bag of white Sugar N Cream I bought from Revain recently had grease and dirt all over the bag about every 20 yards or so and a few cuts that were tied together. I love this 100% cotton yarn. it is cheaper than the smaller skeins of Lily 4 Oz cotton yarn. although it is the same white cotton. same thickness. Some colors cannot be made from cotton yarn with large spools. I make a lot of washcloths and towels. Acrylic just isn't good for this because it doesn't absorb moisture like cotton.
