It's nice to see how much lube is left in your gun. So if it loses its fill, you'll know if it's out of lube or if it's just air.

Install grease gun. It would be nice if the description mentioned that it is incompatible with some types of lubricants, notably Aeroshell G33.

Works as it should, fits almost any commercially available hand grease gun. WILL NOT FIT the Milwaukee M18 Grease Gun, unfortunately it is too big, you need to buy the Milwaukee version as it is a bit thinner. and more expensive. But I digress.

Eliminates the worry of running out of grease during maintenance. I thought there might be an issue with grease leaking through the cup seal, but not yet. According to the instructions, the old seal should be replaced with the one supplied. Well it wasn't nested and I used an old fill - no problem. However, I strongly recommend that you replace it with a blank pistol. That's a wonderful idea.

Bought because I had a Lincoln grease gun which I filled from a grease drum with the nipple on the gun head. I seem to have had constant problems with the rubber seal in the head of the spring assembly tipping over to fill the cartridge and thus pumping lubricant past the head of the assembly into the spring area.
