Soft & Cozy Yarn for Community Projects

Using this yarn, our team found that it's a great way to keep communities warm while being creative. The soft and cozy texture makes it perfect for blankets, scarves and hats- all things that are often needed by those who may not have access to them otherwise. The color variety means we can get creative with our designs, we particularly love how the colors work up together! One con is that it can be a bit splitty, but it's nothing too frustrating. Overall, a great value and our go-to for…

Pros
  • Wide range of vibrant colors to choose from
Cons
  • Some customers have reported shedding and splitting of the yarn while working with it

Pay attention to colors.

Oh my god, from the name and picture you would think these are beautiful corals. No, that is not so. When I opened it all I could see was crimson. It looks like a double thread. White is one of the colors in everything. So here's what you get. Dark raspberry, light purple, pink, light pink and coral.

Pros
  • Knitting and crocheting
Cons
  • None

Five stars for certain models.

This yarn is ideal for crocheting half-granny J scarves. The end result is soft, airy and has pleasant color changes. I skipped the piping and just went from double to half double to single and finally slip stitch on my last row so I could use every inch I could. The three shawls I knit washed well and machine dried and seemed to be very popular as gifts. Still, I can't imagine crocheting or knitting a long warp row with this yarn. The texture makes it fluffy and splits like a much thinner Lion
