Self-adjusting brakes provide optimal brake performance since they self-adjust at every forward stop. Standard electric trailer brakes need to be adjusted by a service professional every 3 months or 3,000 miles. Brake self-adjusts at every forward stop to ensure accurate braking. Fits 3,500-pound wheel hub capacities. Brake measures 10” X 2.25” and has a 4 bolt pattern.

Brake pads appear to be of very good quality (as opposed to OE poor quality). Two problems: First, the sprocket adjuster for adjusting the brakes to the drum is not accessible through any of the openings on the back of the skid plate. . .Make an initial adjustment by removing and then replacing the steel brake drum until the correct resistance is achieved. Not a Lippert product

**Updated** Fitted to my motorhome but had some issues. Called Brechbill direct and contacted Revain's parts manager. He was very helpful and gave troubleshooting advice over the phone - it turned out he was right about the problem too. I'm increasing my review and rating because good customer service should be recognized and appreciated. I would order from them again. I would still recommend changing the listing's description to remove the Lippert name - the brand is important to some people…

Exact replacement OEM

I never knew how an electric trailer brake worked. When I saw that, I hesitated a bit and believed that these brakes even work. Trailer brakes are just brakes and not designed to stop anything, but the mechanisms and design seem rather suspect as to how they actually work. The old brakes and the drum I removed from the magnet actually ruined the drums, perhaps due to lack of maintenance, but when the magnet is designed to drag across the surface of the drum I almost thought it was poor…
