Failed adhesion with adhesives, sealants and lubricants

Used on a small cement block at the front pad edge. The block came off my foot with a slight impact and was surprised to see the sealant thinning despite being installed 2 weeks ago. Doesn't deserve any stars but it was impossible.

Pros
  • Not recommended for diving
Cons
  • None

Low adhesion, works well with Adhesive Caulk

Adhesive peels off stones after a week. I wire brushed the stones before applying them, so I think I had a better chance of holding them. The glue didn't stick to any of the stones I was trying to glue. I ended up using a pre-mixed grout which works better and provides more volume to fill voids in irregularly shaped rocks. I think this is more suitable for sticking the facsimile stone on another flat and porous surface.

Pros
  • Bonds and repairs brick, concrete and stone
Cons
  • Expensive

Not suitable for cement blocks

Not suitable for cement blocks. I ordered this because I couldn't find the Loctite glue I've used in the past. This thing was as useful as chewing gum. I was able to pull the blocks apart by hand with minimal effort, and that was for a tree ring about 6 blocks tall. Luckily I found Loctite and did about 2/3 of the project with it. I went back and reapplied Loctite to the top blocks originally made with this product. Don't waste your time and money.

Pros
  • Creates a stronger structure and prevents walls from moving
Cons
  • Quick instructions

Works much better than expected!

That's damn cool! We made concrete block benches out of it and it's stable and even heavy rains didn't bother us. We tried to find it in several stores and couldn't, so we bought another brand and it didn't last AT ALL! With this one tube, 5 sets of two cinder blocks could be glued together. Be sure to wait the required amount of time or more before moving and make sure you hit the cracks. If the blocks don't sit flush on top of each other, this will help it connect even better. Work quickly…

Pros
  • Repair brick and stone damage
Cons
  • Slightly dented
