Lisle 22090 36Mm 12 Point Socket Review

My analysis of this product showed that it was poorly made with low-quality materials. The socket failed to grip the bolt properly and ended up stripping it. The only positive thing was the size compatibility. However, that did not outweigh the negative experience of wasting money on a useless tool.

Hit a tricky nut with an air wrench and it can still be considered new. This is exactly what the new Toyota Avalon and Camry axles require. None of the local parts stores have heard of 12-point axle nuts (or sold the socket needed to remove them), so you can buy one here.

Lisle makes great tools! I used this with my 3/4" air impact wrench on a crank bolt on a Duramax. I didn't even have to lock the flywheel to remove the harmonic balancer. Of course I had to lock the flywheel in place (using a Lisle flywheel lock of course) and a 3/4 inch torque wrench to get the screw back in.
