The right tool for the job!

Love it - Well done - Easy to use - Turns a 5 minute job into a 30 second job. C clamp. The problem is that with different types of calipers it's usually difficult to find a spot for the clip to press on where it won't damage the caliper and is also straight. This is the right tool for the job. Granted, this is a $33 tool that I will use from time to time, but after using it once it seems like it will last forever. I can only recommend that. Handy Brake Tool

I was looking for a brake repair job in the Yukon and decided to try this device. He worked. It's also a pretty unnecessary luxury. more convenient than using a C-clamp? Yes. Was this simple convenience worth the money I spent on it? Not really. Will it look cool when the other guys see me working the brakes? Maybe. I don't make a living from cars, but over the years it has provided both cost savings and enjoyment. It's nice when everything goes well or as intended. Frustration when a seemingly simple task takes too long. Properly designed tools greatly reduce frustration and make car maintenance more fun than a chore. This tool checks this

An indispensable tool that does its job well.

I'm a professional mechanic and have been using a Lisle brake pad spreader (actually a caliper presser) for about 8 months. I was concerned after seeing a bad review of Revain here, but after searching and not finding other suitable options, I bought it. It appears to be the same unit that Matco's truck dealership sells. The quality of the device seems exceptional and so far I've been happy with it. I could see that this device could break in the wrong hands. It works great if you squeeze the…
