Nice little tool: lifting feet

The product works very well and I can attach it with one hand. Thanks to the large handle, it can be easily operated with one hand. However, a problem arose on the second use. The glue or whatever was holding the handle to the screw came loose and I couldn't remove the tool as the handle only turned and didn't turn the screw. I took some Rhino glue (which is amazing) and glued it back on and now it works great. There were no more problems. If this happens to you, I suggest fixing it like I did.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Quality tool, great convenience

It can be used for many things, hoods, trunks, household appliances and other things that just need support. I've used it a lot and it's so nice to keep the trunk open to a certain height while you change a lightbulb. I also recommend not removing the large colorful label. I know it sounds silly, but if you work on expensive cars like me, it's worth saving thousands of dollars in accidental damage to a fragile mechanism. I ALMOST tried to close the top without removing the clip, but then a…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Discontinued model

I have problems with bonnet pistons and they are not easy to replace and not expensive either. This also works for tailgates and trunk lids. I see no need for green tape to remind you to remove it as you cannot close the hood, trunk or tailgate until you remove it. It's small, easier to use, and cheaper to use than the Lisle Hood Prop +$30 or more, and the little rubber tip on the Lisle Hood Prop is designed to fail (poor design. It lasts a while, but this article costs less than $10). and is…

Pros
  • Good to use
Cons
  • I really don't like it everything is fine

Good quality! - Raise your feet

It's MUCH stronger and stronger than it looks on the screen. Its size and overall design make it a quality device without being too bulky or heavy to get in the way. This is just right for the intended purpose of holding weak percussion assisted lifters. I use mine to hold the flimsy hood lifters on my 2003 Dodge Ram which has a very heavy oversized hood. It uses two very small shock lifters to "barely" hold the hood up at its highest point. If there is a breeze or a slope, the hood will not…

The right tool for the job

I've been using one of these to secure my car's tailgate for a few years. The original struts had lost so much pressure that they could no longer hold the hatch open only on the hottest days, and they were weak enough that the hatch fell back after opening most other days. No fun. I bought one of these support clips when the dealer offered me over $400 to replace the struts. Since I couldn't find a replacement at any local dealership (that's island life) I figured I'd use this inexpensive clip…
