🌿 Large Living World Nature's Perch Review

I bought this perch for my parrot about 5 months ago. He loves to. goes in and out of branches or just stands on them while preening. it was very easy to install and looks great.

The perch was actually very good but the screw size was not large enough to attach to the aviary and a hacksaw was required to remove the equipment. Very disappointed. It was a big perch, not the cockatiel-sized perch that others were talking about. I suspect the hardware was designed for the smaller size.

Cut/broken in two places. This is not natural wood, so this defect can be avoided. Aside from the fact that it was broken, the quality of the shipment doesn't look very good. The rod is thin and feels like the gong is about to break. As it is not natural there must be a metal rod inside to provide stability and make it strong. It may be ok for very small birds, but for large parrots it will be broken in a day or so if it wasn't broken upon arrival.

I bought this big perch for Pepper, our Congo African Grey. It was packaged very well in styrofoam that fitted snugly over the branches and was completely undamaged when received. The dimensions given in the product description are correct. I installed the perch straight away, which was fairly easy - just separate two washers, attach one to the outside of the cage and tighten the wing nut. So far it seems very strong (about 10 days have passed). Pepper is usually very suspicious of new items in
