Great grip but larger than the standard nozzle

This nozzle meets the stated specifications. It starts easily, comes off easily and stays between the two like a son of a bitch. The ONLY thing to note is that the diameter of the nozzle is larger than the standard nozzle, so it's not great for those hard-to-reach spots. I use mine on farm equipment that needs a lot of lube. Most zirconia fittings are outdoors, but I have a few that have a sleeve welded on for protection. The LockNLube just doesn't fit in the boss so I use the standard lube onโ€ฆ

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Retrofittable

works well good for tools and equipment

Well I've never used a one handed weapon so had to learn a bit; The handles are less efficient than the lever I've always used. It seems like it takes about 20 "compressions" to equal two "pumps", but it works. I'm older and I have time, so none of that bothers me. The lock and lube work great leaving the other hand free to squeeze out the lube. From here you keep the fat warm, warmer, hotter. It's well done, and since I only need one, we're going in the blue. They make one with a lever pumpโ€ฆ

Why doesn't everyone use it?

So usually my reviews are "that was great" or "nope" or something like that, but sometimes there's something that needs to be shouted out loud! I know it's just a grease gun, but if you use grease guns you're generally aware that if you don't press down on the fitting to pump grease in, then you can't get that dumb thing off that grease is being squeezed out, sometimes even fits and break the Zerk instantly! Well maybe it's just me, but all of a sudden all my issues with this gun are goneโ€ฆ

Works well. Suitable for grease guns

I'd like to say straight away that I don't like grease guns. I usually have issues with them either not working or just not working consistently. I've used both manual and electric versions. and my results are always different. I needed to lubricate the lift motor assembly as well as the hinges on my trailer tailgate. I used the LockNLube end at work. and it worked great, which is why I went this route. Since I won't be using it often, I was specifically looking for a handheld device. Iโ€ฆ

Not what he claims.

First of all, this is not a US product, it is a US assembly with foreign (Chinese?) parts. That's SEVENTY dollars for a device that should have cost between twenty-five and thirty dollars. Why? Continue reading. The build quality of this gun that I received is terrible. The hose taps to the gun swivel and Lock-N-Lube head are made from worn tooling and are maybe halfway out of the rails. A quality part should snap into place. I took it apart a few times thinking it was cross threads as theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
