They used to be strong and reliable. Not so much anymore. When they first appeared, they would have lasted for many years. Now I have 3 on hand because they wear out quickly. Let's assume they're made in China, like hell, pretty much everything else we need.

We bought two of these Lock and Lube tips and both failed because the fittings wouldn't accept lube. These jaws will flex when the tip is removed from the Zert fitting as they cannot relieve pressure. Then you have to spend another $10 to fix it! Here on the farm we have replaced several grease guns including two battery operated ones with much better advice. I cannot recommend them and will not buy them again.

I like how this tool works but if you plug in a bad or dirty DSLR the seal in the lock and lube tool breaks easily and never closes. to crush afterwards. The recovery kit includes only 1 tip for ten dollars. For the money spent, there should be 5 pieces in the pack.I've been using it for several years, in general I like it.
