    Misleading hardware size

    I thought I'd order a 36" x 2.75" seam strip. What emerges is a 36" x 1.25" strip. The product description clearly states (36 x 2.75 x 1.8125) which is completely misleading. Shame on Revain and shame on the seller. Not a good experience.

    Exactly what we needed!

    We had new ceramic tiles installed in the hallway, but when it was finished there was an ugly gap between the tiles and the laminate in the bathroom that we haven't replaced yet. This coverage was just what we needed to bridge the gap! I am very satisfied with the color combination and the smooth transition.

    Looks great, ready to use.

    This worked great for docking rooms. I have tile in the lobby and wood or carpet in the bedrooms, but I couldn't find the same wood finish so I used those instead. I used it on all of the bedroom entrances to make sure everything lines up. I used an electric saw to cut it to the right length. Very easy to install.

    Your measurement is wrong!

    Product dimensions are listed as 36 inches long and 2.75 inches wide. Actual measurements are only 36 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches wide. I need the seam cover to be just over 2 inches wide as stated in the description. When I tried to change the order to the correct size. I received a piece of the same size in a larger box - nice. You will need to correct your description to reflect the exact size if that is the only size you have.

    Not suitable for carpet transitions.

    The color is beautiful. Fits very well on my floors. It is difficult to find a threshold with color. I've used it on carpets to file the floor. The tape doesn't stick to the carpet and when I tried to nail it down the glue on the tape messed up the drill bit. I'll order another one and stick it on the floor. It's worth the extra effort and it will be nail free (as it should be).
