Very fun but not very well done

my son really likes this bike. But if I had to do it all over again, I would have spent the extra money on an aluminum wheel. One of the blue handles fell off within a month and looks so worn out because it's made of wood and being beaten from playing. Again, I like the bike, but I wouldn't go back to a wooden bike. I also got a lot of great compliments on this bike.

  • sports and outdoor activities
Cons

The paint peeled off after the first application!

Great bike except my son's arms and legs turned blue after the first use! I tried wiping the paint off but it didn't transfer to the fabric. I think it was the sweat on his skin. Since then we've had to reattach both handles (again!) and the little blue handles on the ends of the…

Great price for a wooden bike, screws need improvement

I bought this wooden bike for a preschooler. In less than a year I have had to replace the bolts on the steering wheel assembly with the front wheel 3 times. We used a similar wooden balance bike from Germany to teach a whole neighborhood of kids (over 6 preschoolers in one month) how to ride a two wheeler and we never had to repair a single part. This bike required a special air pump because the inlet gauge is very close to the spokes. Our other pump does not fit. We bought a box of hex head…
