🔧 MPA2019 Magigoo Nylon Printing Adhesive for Enhanced Results Review

This material is quite expensive for what it is, but does a great job of keeping your nylon casts on the bed. Nylon doesn't like to stick to glass in general but with the Magigoo PA I haven't had any issues with either the Taulmann 910 or the trim line, in fact the 910 stuck so well I thought I'd break my bed if I removed it. This also works for multiple prints - it's not just about the print itself. I gave up my garolite/phenolic bed in favor of glass + this is for nylon prints.

Excellent product. I had serious issues with the nylon print until I used this one. Regardless of the bed setting/headboard/inset etc., the first nylon layer will not stick to the bed. Haven't used any other bed stick products before so can't rate this in comparison to the competition but judging by how well it has worked I have no intention of trying anything else. I found ABS adhered too well to buildtek so maybe you shouldn't use it with this combo. Isopropyl alcohol 70% cleans it directly.

I bought this product because Polymaker PA6-CF (nylon/carbon fiber) recommends it. It's easy to use. I haven't noticed a huge difference in adhesion when using the product. The thread I used shrinks a lot as it cools and comes off the bed easily with or without this glue. I've had much more success with prints using a raft and a 10mm high skirt around the piece. The apron traps heat away from the bed, limiting cooling and contraction. This product is quite expensive for its properties. I would…
