F250 bought Super Duty with 5.4, someone cut the muffler and put a straight pipe in it. Away to loud and horrible noises (unless you are involved in drag racing). I put on this 3-into-3 muffler and it's much quieter while retaining the sound. but now you can drive without police and neighbors

These headphones have been in my car for about 8 years. However they sound good and still work well, they hang quite low under the car and have been pulled a couple of times. They will eventually rust but not as much as a set of headers, mine still look like stainless steel after being outside and salt clogged for all these years despite having rust.

After removing the rear cats on my 2001 Ford F150 5.4 I had a 3 inch exhaust installed with this muffler. I had dual exhaust systems with H, X, Flowmasters, Spintechs and Brolas pipes. Nothing beats the sound, performance and value of Magnaflow. However, I have to say that as with any muffler, it's difficult to gauge the amount of sound and volume you're getting. This is the smallest of the ovals to fit a 3" FD3S exhaust with a narrow recessed tip. The welder had to tilt the muffler slightly to keep it from touching the heat shield.
