As many others have found, this is rubbish. They literally fell apart in my hand as soon as I opened the package. The plastic pins that hold the magnets in place are not secured in any way so they will fall out and the magnets behind will fall out. Don't risk using them with your $100+ modern keychains or they'll just end up on the sidewalk somewhere.

I needed larger magnetic key holders than I could find at the store. I've bought it before and thought it would be the same. My old one has survived a lot of trips. In general it is, and I like it, but haven't tested it over time (e.g. driving, rain, dust, mud, sand, mud, whatever). I would like the magnets to be longer than the case, but I also (kinda) understand why it could have been designed with shorter magnets. I'm happy with it, but I'll have to see how it holds up.

This key fob is very durable and waterproof. It stayed under my car on gravel roads and many very rough country roads. In 4 years of use it has never fallen off my car! :-D However, there were two things that seemed difficult to me. 1. The keychain was difficult to open (almost impossible at times). 2.
