Failed to Deliver: Poor Engine Seal

Based on my experience, this gasket failed to provide a proper seal for my high-performance engine. While it initially seemed like a good fit, within a short time, the seal broke down and caused significant issues. The only positive thing I can say is that it was easy to install. However, the cons far outweigh the pros in this case.

Leaks, broken seal

Leak after 2 weeks. Never had a problem with Mahle in almost 20 years as a BMW technician. Not sure what happened. Leaks in the rear corner and gasket were not compensated for in any way

Works perfectly! best replacement parts

Works great on my 2005 BMW X5 E53. Be sure to use a liberal amount of gray or black sealant around the entire perimeter of the gasket. Some great and easy YT do-it-yourself videos on the subject. Research, do it yourself! Don't pay the robbers, it's not that hard. I did it perfectly and I have NEVER worked on a car in my life.
