Doesn't like snagging

A whole spool wasted. The problem is that this filament is easily chewed by the extruder gear. I guess if you're making prints that don't require a lot of retraction that would be fine, but it's hard to guess. I've tried multiple retract distances, retract speeds, and even extruder idler/idler tensions with no success. My extruder is a real E3D Titan Aero.

Pros
  • Extensive quality testing at 100 and 200 micron resolution
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Probably counterfeit filament

my new MakerBot Mini+ and it was mine first replacement. When I put my printer into filament loading mode and fed the filament in, it advanced about 1 inch before clicking loudly. I discharged it and tried 3 more times, cutting off the tip each time before giving up. I would be surprised to know that this is a real MakerBot thread.

Pros
  • Compatible with MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printer, MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D Printer, MakerBot Replicator Mini Compact 3D Printer and MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

This PLA prints too hot (if it prints at all)

Even the product description cannot tell me the correct printing temperature. At one point you say 215 and at another 230. BOTH of these temperatures are above the maximum of 210 for all other PLA filaments. This stuff has stalled my printer twice already and I'm just trying to get it to run at 35mm/s traverse speed because at 60mm/s it understretches and breaks every time. Lonely. To press.

Pros
  • Country of origin: USA
Cons
  • Requires power socket
