Beautiful plane for mandolin.

I had several knives and my last plastic one broke. I bought this mandolin slicer knife because it feels sharp and has an adjustable thickness. Yes, it's super sharp. I really like how you can adjust the thickness with the dial. Even a large onion is easy to cut. Very practical and saves time when cooking. Cleaning is easy as the vertical blade cylinder slides out. I also like the easy storage.

Cook time for flavorful pieces

With a cutting surface of approximately 4 1/4 inches, preparing food is a breeze! My wife and I had a mandolin that you can see in the video and we used it quite a bit, but I didn't have legs, it had to be held over the container and used. This mandolin also cuts julienne (thick and thin). It also has about eight different slice thicknesses. A brush that is very easy to clean the device. It comes with a food holder that makes it very safe to use. Hope that was helpful

I like it very much, but the instructions on the handle are almost illegible.

I bought this when the blade of my old plastic mandolin became too dull to use and it stopped sharpening. I love that I can cut the potatoes into chunks for french fries, although it takes a very strong hand to push the potatoes through the blades. It also slices the onion and cucumber very thinly, which I like. The fact that it's all stainless steel is a huge plus. I have 2 problems with this item. Sharp mandolin. Gloves may be too small

I have never owned a mandolin prior to this Sanikeon due to the inherent risk of having a bladed kitchen tool. I used a juicer to cut carrots and zucchini. This is safer, but only suitable for small batches. The mandolin saves a lot of time, but special care must be taken when using it. I'm glad it comes with gloves because I could cut my fingers the first time I used it. Always wear gloves when working with this tool! This Mandoline Slicer does exactly what you need. No frills and maybe not as solidly built as the super expensive models, but it gets the job done that matters at the end of the day. It's sharp and delivers precise, clean cuts while still having a classic, functional style.
