I am amazed at the level of quality they have been able to squeeze out of such a simple, tried and true design. It's like the combination lock we all once had on our school lockers. It still claims to be the Master Lock but it has cheap build quality unless they are insanely cheap now. I think the only way to make things worse is to make the case out of multiple layers of aluminum foil, although in reality this may end up being more metallic than this lock is currently made. I am very disappointed with this purchase. I bought 2 sets of these because my twins need 2 locks for HS. The first pair works, but both have different combinations. They should have the same combination. The second pair has the same combination on the back but only opens one, so I'm guessing it has a different combination as well. However, we cannot use it because we do not know the combination. They need them for school next week, so it looks like a trip to Walmart is in our future. So…

My second order. It's amazing that after losing the first lock I didn't have to learn a new combination! Unfortunately I lost the second one. But they were excellent sports castles. I forgot to check the reviews before ordering, in fact several customers said that the combination could not open one of the two locks.
