Easy to mark keys in the service department

I like that they are flat on both sides (some manufacturers put their logo on one side) so I can write on both sides. I am a motorcycle service manager and use them for key numbering. They are perfect for my needs.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not strong enough to ride a bike

If you hang them on the board and open them from time to time, you'll probably be ok. IF you wear them on a ring for occasional use or on a board for frequent use, DO NOT buy them. These are made of cheap and thin plastic so they break easily. There are plastics like nylon or fiberglass reinforced that would be more durable.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • It's ok

Swear by bike locks now

I have so many keys I have no idea what they are for. But at least newer keys are now tagged with these simple tags. I write on the tags with a thin marker and the ink doesn't smudge or fade. My only request is a stronger key ring. That's enough to store the keys, but it's not very durable.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Miniature and efficient. Good quality.

Very comfortable. I like to label any random clues that might slip through my hands. And I think it's important to tag all groups of my house keys (garage, house, bike, storage, etc.) in case something happens to me and someone needs to figure out which key goes with which. They're cheap enough that I can use these tags on many spare keys and give away some to download.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great for sorting keys and USB sticks

I spent an hour sorting all my keys by tags and then marking them with a highlighter. The point is already worn out, but for me it doesn't matter much. Label tape sticks pretty well, so if you're worried, use it. Just the right size and they come with a jump ring for attaching keys. The top hole fits the small carabiner I use to carry most of my USB drives to school and work.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Frequency

Improved bike lock key fobs

I've been using round key fobs with metal rims and heavy paper inserts for a long time. The problem with these paper keychains is that they spoil quickly and become unusable if they get damp (or sweaty if carried in a bag). Personal experience has shown that plastic Master Lock keychains are much better in comparison. Incidentally, I've found Sharpie's Ultra Fine Point permanent marker to be very good at making legible and detailed marks on Master Lock plastic key fobs.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fairly OK, but...

Excellent: Make keys searchable if lost

I wanted it to be more likely that if I lost my keys, someone would find them and get them back. I think they'll do just fine for this: they sit very well on a keychain and are easy to mark with a Sharpie permanent marker. In fact, I ordered them while sitting in a conference room with someone else's keys on the table in front of him. me, but no ID. I wanted to call this person but there was no way to do it. This led me to conclude that my own keys had the same problem so I ordered these tags…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Modern
