vibration type fuel pump is universal. It has two wires for positive and negative power, which is very convenient when installing old devices with positive grounding. Many fuel pumps use a metal case for the negative terminal and only have one wire (the positive terminal) that just won't work if you install it on the positive ground system. Imported (of course) but works well on a 1963 Allis Chalmers HD3 bulldozer for loading diesel into filters and pump injectors.

I bought this pump as part of a fuel cleaning system to clean the diesel fuel in my boat's tanks. The pump doesn't need a high flow rate or large change in pressure to do the job, it just needs to pump fuel through a filter back into the tank and do this for an hour or two at a time. This little pump does it well and comes at a good price. My only "criticism" is that it's quiet, so I need a reminder to turn it off. I've used it for several hours of work so far so well.

Can't comment on durability but so far it's perfect! Easy to install and ideal for an old makeshift mower that uses a mechanical diaphragm fuel pump (attached to the camshaft). This membrane no longer works or the pump lever is worn out. In any case, the old pump no longer worked. It took about 30 minutes to re-route the fuel line, connect to the electrical wiring, install the built-in fuse, and install the fuel pump. Don't forget to put a fuel filter in front of the fuel pump.

I have a problem with my small Yanmar SC2400 tractor. Runs well at idle, but then cuts out at full throttle or under load. When I disconnected the outlet line from my current fuel pump, the fuel delivery was very erratic. I ordered this fuel pump as a replacement in hopes of solving my problem. I installed 2 mechanical cam type fuel pumps that were sold as replacements for my Kohler engine; they didn't work long. I installed it over the hole for this fuel pump by first caulking the hole with a flat piece of metal and bolting it down. I connected the SPST switch directly to the battery and when I want to mow I turn it on and start the engine.
