The metal parts are chrome steel so the chrome has fallen off and now they are just rusty. Having my dog in the pool multiple times a day probably doesn't help.

Bought this yellow collar about 6 months ago. The yellow looks great on our black dog and is easy to see in low light. The collar is very good but the bright yellow color turns almost white for a street dog after about 6 months.

UPDATE: My dog has had this collar for four years now. It's still easy to clean and looks like new. Just great! My dog has worn this collar every day for over 2 years and it still looks brand new. Easy to clean and very durable. I can't think of a better value!

Materials and workmanship appear to be good. This collar helps make my pet more visible, making it a protective device as well as a collar. My dog is over 80 pounds and loves a mixed breed. It can pull like a D9 Caterpillar. So I'm glad to have a collar strong enough to keep him out of trouble.

Nice heavy duty reflective collar. Very durable, I've worn it on and off daily all summer and it looks brand new. Note that it doesn't have a quick-release buckle, so unless your dog is wearing it too loosely to slip over his head (which can be dangerous can, so I don't recommend it). The bright orange really stands out on a black dog. A bit large for my well trimmed 60 lb dog. I ordered an 18" understanding that with an 18" neck it would attach in the center hole but it was a little loose and the end stuck right out after going through the large D-ring, as I tightened the collar.
