🚗 Enhance Trunk Lid Protection with Metro Moulded MW00101 SUPERsoft Seal Review

This was an almost exact replacement for the trunk seal on my 1993 Lincoln Town Car. In fact it was over 1 foot long. It is proved that the high pressure local washing goes perfectly. No leaks! Highly recommended.

First... It's about 18 feet long. It took me 15.5 feet to replace the entire trunk seal on my 1997 Lincoln Town Car and it worked great and was easy to install at my local shop. Very important!

When I ordered this I was a bit concerned that there might not be enough material to replace the damaged trunk seal on my 1994 Lincoln Town Car. In fact, when I finished I had over a foot of material left over! The perfect replacement!

Works great, fits my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis perfectly. There was a bit of extra rubber in there, so have a knife ready to cut through the gasket once you've fully installed it. There are internal metal rings so you'll need to find a lucky medium to cut through. The listing said it was made in America, the label was printed "Made in India".

Easy to install you almost don't need sealant glue the only reason I see is just to make sure that if there is some adhesion to the trunk lid the new one Decorative strip does not peel off. The old protective film peeled off easily but left a small residue. The metal edge that the scraper presses on was quite dirty and I used 100% isopropyl alcohol to remove the dirt and soften the residue.
