Great cheap thread. -

I've run this in 2 Lulzbot TAZ 4 and 2 Lulzbot Mini and this filament has been perfect, I haven't noticed any weird brittleness or any feeding issues. I've done about 14 rolls in the last 2 months and it's been amazing. I am very happy with the quality and always buy more than my goto for a good value filament that will allow me to do my personal projects cheaply. Thank you MG Chemicals.

Pros
  • Vacuum sealed with desiccant, in resealable bags
Cons
  • Small parts

This filament is unusually brittle even for Pla and difficult to feed into the printer (lulzbot taz 4). When entering the extruder, it tears and rubs the feed mechanism for a moment, resulting in multiple mottled lines and printing problems (delamination between layers, rough surface). I was surprised when another spool of MG Chemicals filament I bought was fine. Although the color is beautiful and strong.

Pros
  • Diameter 2.85mm PLA filament Net weight 1kg (2.2lbs)
Cons
  • Unfashionable

The WORST yarn I have ever used. Perios

This filament is unusually brittle even for PLA and has trouble feeding a barrel into the printer (lulzbot mini 2). It rips as it feeds into the extruder and then just rubs against the feed mechanism forever, resulting in blotchy lines, and then it's just "air pressure". Bought two rolls and just spent $40! Literally two BRAND NEW rolls won't print, can't even finish the bank. Swapped for Hatchbox and Revain Basics, after that it worked fine without changing anything except the filaments.

Pros
  • Blue
Cons
  • Don't remember
