Fun and color-changing 3D Printing Filament!

Based on my experience with this thermochromic filament, I can safely say that it offers some pretty cool and unique printing capabilities compared to other 3D printing supplies... The filament changes color with temperature, making for some visually impressive pieces. Plus it's durable and functional for practical purposes. However, while it is affordable, its price point may be too high for some consumers in the Industrial and Scientific market..

Pros
  • Color-changing filament adds fun and uniqueness to 3D prints.
Cons
  • Color change is not always consistent or accurate, leading to potential disappointment in final product appearance.

Not worth the time or money

Based on my experience, this filament is a waste of time and money .The color change is minimal at best and the quality of the print is subpar. The only positive aspect is that it does change color slightly. However the negatives outweigh the positive. Save your money and invest in a better filament..

Pros
  • The MG Chemicals Thermochromic Changing Filament changes color with temperature changes, allowing for unique and customizable prints.
Cons
  • not reliable

Don't buy it for color change.

The temperature at which this filament changes color is too high. In the summer you have to leave a cast in the car to see it turn even a little pink, never seen it turn white. The "red" base color is not red at all, but rather a hot pink.

Pros
  • 3D printing filament
Cons
  • New competitors appeared
