Answers to questions say it was 4-5ft long (which probably worked around the world). It's not, I measured it, it's only 3 feet plus 6 inches for the handle. This worked well for me, but I saw how difficult it could be for some people to use, so I took off a star for that. Here's the method I used: push the cord as far as you can to run it down the drain, then twist it with the handle (clockwise or counterclockwise doesn't seem to matter) and that Cable will shorten as you walk.
