3.5mm Mic Adapter Extension Cable for GoPro HERO 3/3+/4 - Gold Plated, Reducing Noise Review

THIS IS MONO AUDIO ONLY! You don't get. This is my third 3.5 mic adapter and it's useless. Who wants to duplicate editing work when there is enough editing work to do? Also, when a car drives by, don't you want to hear the car moving from left to right?

The sound is wrong. The left side is quieter while the right side is much louder. I ruled this out because I was trying to plug a mic into my computer and the mic is balanced. I have used many other mics with this adapter and the sound is unbalanced.

I found it a bit patchy as all the reviews were bad, but my favorite youtuber/motoblogger JaketheGardenSnake kept using it for some helmet adjustments so I decided to give it a try

The length of this part is ideal for those trying to install a professional helmet mount and certainly long enough to fit under the helmet, under and in. I hear a very faint popping noise that's fairly constant, but this may be caused by my microphone.

Works fine but black plastic around the mini USB to connect to the camera is too thick when used with The Frame. I use it with a frame so I can mount my GoPro while recording audio. Overall it does what it's supposed to, but it would be better if that piece of plastic wasn't so bulky. I cut mine out with a shaped knife so it fits better and doesn't rub against the frame.

Every time I order one of those cheap Chinese adapters I take such a risk. It works, hardly. The sound sounds like crap. Real GoPro adapters are hard to find and only have 90 degree angles. WHY GOPRO DID NOT SELL A 90° Mic Adapter. Don't buy this junk. Save your few bucks and your time by getting it back. Sorry seller but I wanted to leave a good review, I really did.
