Seems well made and exactly the same as mine. I have a regular 2 gallon red plastic can and it has no thread on the can. Not worth sending back, I'll give it to the Salvation Army.

Bought to replace a spout on a Midwest can. The opening of the new lid is smaller and I had to use a dremel to mount the spout. It fits but is tight. You may need to add extra padding to protect against spills.

The option to replace the damaged cover is worth considering, but the price is too high. This is a one-time repair and then the purchase of a new gas bottle. NOTE: Designed for use with the spout in place. Without them the lid will not close as there is no insert to seal the hole. Slightly not as shown, also there is no gasket in the kit, you must use the old gap.
