Great Durable Bag: Boating

I carried it up and down more than I planned. Appears to be waterproof. But having ridden the track I can say that it is generally very durable.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Empty

Bad straps, good bag.

(150L). The straps are not strong enough to carry a full bag of gear. I was about 60-70 pounds and the strap broke right out. Ask the manufacturer to reinforce the seams and attachment points.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Nothing here

Durable, easy to carry and put in your pocket!

Bought for my husband to transport and store his inflatable kayak. It's the perfect size and very comfortable to carry even though the kayak weighs around 40 pounds. A great purchase so far! I also really appreciate the pocket on the outside of the bag which is perfect for storing a patch kit or other items.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Expensive

This is BIG - Sport

When you need to stash tons of gear and keep it waterproof, I don't know what you can do better than this bag. That's big. It holds its shape relatively well and has a solid construction with comfortable handles. It's so big it's hard to imagine carrying it on your back for long stretches, but I don't think that's its intended purpose. There is an outside pocket, practical but not waterproof. Unlike other bags that have a Velcro or magnet at the top, this one simply flips over. It still keepsโ€ฆ

Insanely Huge!: Sport

This waterproof 150 liter bag is really huge and therefore somewhat specialized in its usefulness. You're clearly not going to fill it to the brim with rocks, and you can lift it without tearing up the backpack or yourself. Even loaded with average camping gear or accessories, if you can lift it at all, you won't want to carry it up a mountain slope. But what I wanted was to be able to freely stuff an entire family into individually packed sleeping bags and just haul a few tens of meters fromโ€ฆ

Holy Mother of God, that's a big bag

Depending on how small you are, you can sit in this bag and ask someone to take it. But seriously. I bought a 150 liter bag and later a 60 liter bag. The 150 liter bag is great but if you want to use it to its full potential you will need to invest in back support and better shoulder pads as this backpack will destroy them. On the other hand, everything you need for a long hike fits in, including a fairly large tent. When I have to carry a lot of gear I choose this bag and it can even beโ€ฆ

Better to use as a duffel bag

Received this in hopes I could carry my 27" mini longboard along with some pads and accessories. Now that I see how big it really is it's probably going to fit my board, my mats, and all the clothes I take on a hike, and then some! This thing is huge! Now this gear can potentially fit quite a lot - tents, chairs, etc. - but if what you are packing is quite heavy then you probably shouldn't carry it as a backpack but more like a holdall that converts into a backpack but you can fold it up nicely

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great big stuff sack!: Boating

I canoe quite often on camping trips. So far I've packed all my gear into a couple of small stuff sacks. This method has worked for many people for a long time, including me. The biggest downside to using lots of small dry bags is that you end up with a bunch of small dry bags. You need to find a way to organize them all in your boat and then figure out how to secure them all in case you capsize. In addition, it is inconvenient to carry many small bags along the portages. I have taken thisโ€ฆ
