Looks great on my black dog :) Reflective yarn is very effective. I didn't think the plastic pendant loop was a big deal, but it really is. It's a lot quieter. I would buy again. I wish they would have made them smaller for my smallest dog.

Is this collar more than two years old?! I've just washed my dog and found that he still looks brand new. At the same time I bought another collar for another dog and it's a disaster. I just can't believe this collar is over two years old. I wash him with soapy water every time he takes a bath. This is a rough dog that weighs 120 pounds and always gets dirty. Great collar. Bought this collar specifically for when my dog is at work and want to have tags. He's a whippet and wears a martingale collar, so he doesn't usually have tags on him as you don't leave the martingale on all the time. It's nice and thin and doesn't stop him from wearing it to work or when he goes to/from work and puts both collars on at the same time. They also give you a free collar hanger to put on the wall which was a nice surprise.

I have previously purchased a Mighty Paw collar and have been very pleased. When it came time to buy a collar for our new pup, I didn't hesitate to buy it from Mighty Paw again. After just a month of use, the piece of fabric holding the ID tag loop fell apart. As a result, we lost identification marks somewhere. I have contacted Mighty Paw for a replacement or refund and am confident that they will provide excellent customer service. However, I still don't have $15 for ID tags. Damn.

At first I thought it was a great collar but as my pup grew I noticed that the collar hardly ever stretches or sags. I bought the medium one which is advertised as 14-20 inches - it should be perfect for my dog who now has a neck of around 15 inches! No, the collar only appears to be 16 inches when stretched to its full length! The reflective collar is very light, has a strong clasp that's easy to attach, separate tag hooks so they don't jingle, and reflective stitching makes sure me and my pet are extra safe when walking. I ordered this collar because of the great price and the separate identification ring. My kids kept attaching the leash to the ID ring instead of the collar. The dog then freed itself, broke the fragile identification ring and ran free. The presence of a separate ring for attaching the leash prevented its recurrence. This is almost the standard nylon collar you find from many manufacturers today. The D ring feels a little heavier than usual and has a cool separate ring for attaching ID tags which is a great idea. Why only 4 stars? Limited colors (black and grey, both boring). The identification ring is made of thin plastic and can break. Quick release plastic on plastic. So far this is my favorite collar for our Bernese Mountain Dog. It weighs just under 100 pounds and has lots of down, but the collar is very breathable and doesn't cause tangles or irritation. My only feedback would be that I wish they had a collar with a metal clip instead of plastic. We have a third collar because of this problem.
