I've spent hours adjusting each strap and playing with the fit. No matter what I did, I still couldn't get the helmet on my head. I ended up switching it back to flash which is much better. At least the window was good.

I love this item. I'm an aluminum welder and found this helmet comfortable and affordable. Safety comes first, that's why I bought all the helmet related gear. I always wear goggles. :)

The best hood in the game! Elegant design. Doesn't look like a cheap hockey helmet. Doesn't look like a sporty bike helmet. Optically perfect design. The sensors have never let me down and the headgear is the most comfortable I've tried.

After 30 years as a hobby welder, my eyes started to hurt after I bought my first auto-darkening mask 20 years ago. I have 2 different Lincoln welding caps. Both have problems with auto-darkening when I'm TIG welding pipes in the field. I literally got flash burned twice because of it. I borrowed this sheath from my supervisor and he has never had a problem activating the auto blackout during TIG welding...no matter how high or low the current is or what position I/torch is in. I bought this for my job where I weld 2-3 times a week. I've had it for about a month now and my only regret is that I waited so long to purchase a quality hood. The look is much cleaner than the cheap Chinese car tints I've used and much better than the Lincoln. The only real competitor to this hood is the flash.
