Optimized Minoura Water Bottle Holder Review

They work fine. The metal is a little flimsy, but the bottles mostly stay in place. My biggest complaint is that the color is far off. I bought the green one and it doesn't match the picture at all.

I received silver separators matte (flat) silvery not shiny as in the photo. Not very happy because the matte silver doesn't look as aged as the shiny silver for my bike. Although the quality is good

Holds my water bottle just right. Nothing more to say. It was a bit loose at first for the bottle I chose, but since it's metal, just take the bottle out and flex it a bit. This is to be expected as not all bottles are created equal. So far I've never lost a bottle.

Purchased to match the color of my Ti bike frame. The color of these cells is a cosmetic match for my Ti frame. I've used this for various sizes of water bottles, small and large, including a Polar bottle; no one has come out yet. The style is classic and very light. I love these cells!

I love the minimalist style of these cages. However, the cages didn't hold the aluminum bottles properly. They rattle a lot when I ride in rough conditions. My solution to this was to put neoprene sleeves on my bottles and now they are safe and quiet. They also protect the bottles from scratches. If you use plastic bottles, this is not a problem.

The quality is good but the color is not as bright as in the photo. It's more of a forest/summer/yellow green than a super bright green. You can see the contrast between the other light greens in my picture. I was expecting a little more than the color in that sense. It's not a big deal for me to bring them back, but something to keep in mind if you're super picky about matching all of your colors.

I was looking for a retro style bottle holder to go with a vintage bike that I recently restored. Since most of the components on my vintage bike are chrome-plated, I was looking for a chrome-plated bottle cage. I bought a silver and titanium pair as I didn't quite understand how they differ. Good: Cool cages. I bought 2 cages and they weighed 38.5g and 38.7g. The titanium screws have a wider head than usual (looks bulky) but weigh 1.2g each compared to the standard screws that came with my CAAD10 at 2.7g each. smooth matte surface. These cages are very similar to king cages but have a wider tube. They weigh less than King SS cages (48g at $18 excl. shipping) and more than King Titan cages (28g at $60 excl. shipping).
